How to: Dead Simple Statement Oversized DIY Earrings

When I saw one of my friends wearing these earrings in black, I thought I need big triangle earrings like that. But truth be told, I'm a cheap individual so I decided and somehow managed to make them myself. And if I could, then it has to be easy. I wore them in last post and I said I'll show you how so now I'm showing you how.
      You need:

Glue, scissors, studs, foam sheets.

These foam sheets are the best things ever if you ask me. You get them in any shade and cost close to nothing. Especially comparing to oversized earrings.

First, you cut a shape you like out of a piece of paper and try it on for size. Then you trace it to the foam sheet and cut it out.

Then you cut a long strip in another color and cut it into smaller pieces, make sure they're long enough.

Next you trace the tip and trim it.

Glue all of the pieces onto the two bigger pieces. Have them side by side, so you get the dimensions right - you want the same looking earrings, right? Wait for a few minutes or until the glue dries, then trim the ends.

Finally, you glue the studs on and that's it. You can make them in any size or shape. Dead simple.
