This Is Not a Picture Book

Mishberries has come up with some pretty great questions and wanted me (among others) to answer them (you can read more about it here). Since I'm almost always down for almost anything, I'm more than happy to succumb to her will so here we go.

      1) Look at what you were 5 years back and compare them to the current you. Did you change a lot or you stay the same?
I've changed about 20 different hairstyles, lost some weight and started wearing heels but that's all that's changed. I have a friend, who's been my best friend for over 20 years, and she says that I'm the same person she's met in kindergarten. I take great pride in that actually. I've known who I am and what I believe in since what seems like forever and I'm sticking to it.

      2) Have you made any major decisions that changed the path of your life so far?
I hope I have and I have yet to see results. But doesn't every decision change your life in some way? I decided not to become a nun, that's pretty life-changing, I think.

      3) When and why did you start blogging?
I actually started blogging as a guest blogger for another blog in September 2012. I posted there every Wednesday but then I realized I needed more cyberspace so I started my own blog about 3 months after that. You can read more about that here. Why do I blog? Honestly, this is all just a part of my grand master plan to take over the world and brainwash everybody into being my bitch-slaves, ahahahaha!!! I love to write, that's all there is to it. And for the record, I hate taking and posting pictures of myself but I do it because reading habits of 87,63 % of the people are at the level of a 5-year-old kid, who chooses which book he likes by the number of pictures it contains. It's a marketing tool and I hate it. There. I said it.

      4) What's your dream and are you going towards that direction each year or do you think you are going further away from it? Or are you already living your dream?
My dream is to be Richie Hawtin's groupie and as for now, no, I have not yet realized that dream. My other dream is to live off my writing so I'd be able to move a lot and work wherever. If sky were the limit, I'd have a condo in New York, London, Barcelona, Berlin and somewhere on Ibiza and I'd move every 3 months. To tell you the truth, I think I'm moving towards achieving that dream. Slower than I'd want to, but at least I'm not going backwards.

      5) Do you believe in Love or Soul mates?
I do believe in love, I don't believe in soul mates. Actually it's not that I believe, I KNOW that one concept exists and the other one doesn't.

      6) If you could become an actor/actress, singer or artist, which would you choose to become?
Performing in public freaks me out, so singer is out of the question 100 %. Acting has a certain appeal but includes too many people. I like to be my own boss and I really don't like too much attention so to be able to work behind the scenes as a writer would be perfect, be it writing scripts, songs, ingredients lists, whatever.

      7) Which part of your body do you like the most?
My eyes. My friend, the one I mentioned earlier, says that you can just look into my eyes and you'll know what's going on inside my head and in my heart, I can't hide anything. I like that.

      8) If you were able to chose, would you choose to be a single child or have siblings?
Have siblings, no doubt. There's a certain aspect of socialization single children don't get to experience and that definitely affects them in some way later on in their lives. I have an older brother and although we wanted to kill each other during puberty, he's taught me things no one else could. He's taught me how to unwrap gifts and wrap them up again so your parents won't know you've already opened them, he's taught me that Nirvana and Marilyn Manson are better than Kelly Family and Backstreet Boys, he's taught me to fight back and stick up for myself and most importantly, he's taught me that NOBODY is always right. The best lesson of my life.

      9) Ironman, Batman, Superman or Spiderman?
Spiderman. Just because of The Simpsons Movie and Spiderpig.

      10) The Moon or the Sun?
The Moon. I prefer the night anyway but I've read that the Moon is supposed to be hollow and that aliens might have put it there for Earth's gravity and ... I don't want to freak anybody out so I better stop. You should just know that our Moon is über cool.

      11) Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin?
Say what?? That's got something to do with Harry Potter, right? To tell you the truth, I've only watched the first movie, never read any of the books. Gryffinfifin or whatever, that's the one where Harry's at, right? Too goody-two-shoes for me. I'd choose Slytherin. Naughty boys and girls have more fun, trust me. And I think it turns out in the end that they are all decent people, doesn't it? If it doesn't, it should, because naughty doesn't equal evil.

I'm wearing:
Shorts: H&M
Coat: Zara
Shirt: H&M
Tights: Calzedonia
Heels: eBay

Don't forget to like, share and/or follow so I can make you all my bitch-slaves as fast as possible. There are new posts coming up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday so see you again next Monday!

  1. This was a fun read! Always like hearing other bloggers' takes on relevant (and not so relevant) issues :) Love those red pumps! They look so striking with the rest of the outfit and within the otherwise dark (but beautiful!) setting :)

  9. "reading habits of 87,63 % of the people are at the level of a 5-year-old kid, who chooses which book he likes by the number of pictures it contains" How many people will come to this post and not read it cause of all the big words :-P
It's sad that you think you HAVE to pose for pictures to please - if you do what you love it wont be such a chore. I think you seem really witty and rad in your writing so maybe you should just give us (your followers and the generally un-washed masses) a chance and do what you want with YOUR blog :-)

  11. Okay, when I saw the picture at 1 glimpse I thought you were cosplaying a devil because I swear the strap of your coat reminds me of a tail except that it's not pointy because of the black attire but devil red pumps >D

    Super awesome okay!

And it's great that you stayed the same yet you are improving at the same time, I think that's the best. Remaining the same person as you are inside whilst moving forward, that seems to be very rewarding rather than moving forward but forgetting who you originally is.

And LOL@ the picture one. Damn. You've said it. Every. Single. Word. Rings. The. Truth. Too bad I don't have your balls to say it >D

Pft, gryfinfifin! It's Gryffindor!! Not like it matters >D But thanks so much for taking time to answer my tag, I promise it's the last one!

    (this month)

Just kidding! Hahahahaha <3 It's also awesome to know that you love to write because if you are to publish your own book one (soon) day, I would totally buy it. Just so that I can read and laugh and feel happy with each passing day, I mean IF your book is like your blog. But if you are to write something gruesome or scary, then it would be my Godbrother reading it >D

I really admire enterpreneurs and people who dare to chase after their dream because sometimes I think I am too cowardly to take that plunge. Lets see how life brings us >w<

  16. Haha, I like what you said about the majority of people chose blogs based on their pictures. I am pretty sure a lot of people don't actually read any of the writing and just post about the pictures. Nice dress. etc. I think we may have discussed this before?

Please can you tell me about this hollow-moon-alien theory? I'm kinda freaking out here.

I am wearing a Gryffindor top right now. Harry Potter is awesome!

Please give me those red shoes.
