Things My Boyfriend Doesn't Like Part 13

I think by now you know the drill. And if you don't, you can check out the first Things My Boyfriend Doesn't Like post here and the rest of the series here, but for those of you who know what TMBDL posts are all about, here's the 13th installement. Yay.

My boyfriend is not the biggest fan of plaid. He's not even the medium sized one or the smallest either. He's actually the exact opposite of what a fan of plaid looks, acts and sounds like. He's a full-blown full-on full-blooded full-time plaid hater and he hated this outfit where I wore the skirt you see above very much. Oddly enough, he didn't mind the skirt when I wore it for Halloween a couple of years ago. I was a school girl. And he liked the outfit. A lot. So odd.

Like already mentioned in the second TMBDL post, he's not too enthusiastic about harem pants in general. On top of the loose fit, these are printed so that just adds fuel to his scorn, but that doesn't stop me from wearing them (which was also demonstrated here on the blog in two of the previous posts, here and here). And rest assured that me waring them doesn't stop him from putting his two cents in: "If a sultan would see his wives in these pants, he would've dissolved the harem." Really? Don't you think he would've just told them to take them off? When God (or in this case Allah) gives you lemons, you make Limoncello, you don't just throw away the lemons, silly.

You might be just as much surprised to hear what he had to say about this top (which you can also see here) as I was - he had nothing to say. He just grunted he didn't liked it. I prodded further and asked why but all he had to say was: "I don't know. Can't tell. I just don't." To me, that was refreshing. Throughout the years I've mastered a few techniques with which to shut him up (most of them entail shoving different body party in his mouth) but it was nice to see clothes can get the job done too, not just what's under them. Anyhow, I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a moment's peace, that's all I'm saying. You know what they say: silence is golden.

Don't forget to share and follow FPS via Twitter, Bloglovin and/or Google+ to get the latest updates. But most importantly, do come by again sometimes - posting days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, so hopefully see you then!
